Your name, email and password (stored only as a secure hash).

Business details you give us to open accounts: business type, legal name, PAN, GSTIN, address, website, date of birth of the owner, and the documents you upload.

Your clients, invoices and payments, and the Indian bank account that receives your money.

Technical records: the time, IP address and browser of each login and change, kept for security.

Why we use it

To open and run your accounts abroad and convert your money to rupees.

To meet legal duties: identity checks (KYC) required by the Reserve Bank of India, record keeping under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, and tax and export reporting.

To keep your account safe, for example by emailing you about new logins and bank account changes.

Who we share it with

Seismic and its partner banks, which hold your money, verify your identity and issue your FIRAs. They are regulated by the Reserve Bank of India.

Service providers that run Kash for us: Amazon Web Services (Mumbai region, India) for servers, databases and email.

Authorities, when the law requires it. We never sell your data.

Where it is kept and for how long

Kash stores your data in India. The documents you upload for verification go to our banking partner, which stores them under its own policy. [Confirm the partner’s storage location before launch.]

Payment and invoice records are kept for 8 years after the transaction, as Indian law requires for financial records. Security logs are kept for at least 1 year.

Documents you upload for verification go straight to our banking partner; we do not keep copies.

Your rights

You can see, correct or ask us to delete your personal data, withdraw consent, and name someone to act for you. Some records must be kept by law even after you close your account; we will tell you which.

Write to our Grievance Officer (see the grievance page). We acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 30 days.

You can ask for this notice in Hindi or any other language listed in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.

Your clients and the people who pay you

When you invoice a client, Kash processes their name, email, address and payment details to issue the invoice and match their payment. We use them only for that and the legal records above, and never contact your clients for marketing.
